Am I too old to start?
No. Our most common new painter is over 60, and many are over 75. Paint-by-numbers was made for exactly this — you do not need any background in art.
What if my hands aren't steady?
The numbered areas are large and forgiving. Small wobbles inside the lines don't show in the finished painting. Many painters find it actually steadies the hands over time.
Can I see the numbers clearly?
The numbers are printed large and dark, and the kits we feature here use bold designs with large areas, not fine detail. Every kit also comes with a digital PDF you can open on your phone or iPad and zoom in as much as you like.
What's in the box?
A canvas, numbered acrylic paints, three brushes, a color reference card, and a step-by-step guide. Canvas comes in a rolled option and a pre-stretched option — you choose on the product page.
