When should you order for Halloween?

Earlier than you think. The painting is not the slow part, the post is. US orders take 3 to 4 days to pack and around 10 to 14 days in transit, so plan on two to two and a half weeks before the box arrives. Then you still need time to paint, and the 36 and 48-color versions add roughly 5 and 10 hours on top of the 24-color kit. For a finished painting on display by October 31, order by the start of October. Late September is safer.

• Pre-mixed acrylic paint pots matched to the numbers
• Three brushes, wall hangers, a reference sheet and a color card

Kits start at $29.95 for the rolled canvas with 24 colors. Dark Halloween scenes have a lot of black next to bright orange, so paint the dark numbers first.
