I love the colours in this. I must admit the addition of extra colours I think was a waste as so little is used in these extra colours.. I was also disappointed that the end result is not what we see in the promotional photo which is obviously a talented artist who has combined the colours soooo they look smooth and misty. A Talent I don't quite have. It is known as false advertising. I am aware that once on the wall it looks fabulous but not quite what I expected.
What a cutie! Loved painting this!!
So much detail. I love the challenge. One day at a time. i’m 88 years old and having a blast.
Paint was smooth, and numbers easy to read. A few colors needed a second coat of paint but I didnt mind.
This was one of my favorite paintings The great picture, the colors, the witches. I so enjoy your kits. Thank you for giving me a past time that I love.
So much fun! Loved watching it come together - it turned out beautifully.
I enjoyed doing this one. It was the first one I’ve done with only 24 colors, it didn’t take very long at all.
My grandson loves it
I always look forward to my kits, for me it’s so rewarding to see my paintings come life 🤩 I also find it very relaxing to immerse myself into the challenge
Purchased this as a Christmas gift for a 93 year old lady!! She will love it!
This was my first one and I loved it! It was very relaxing! I look forward to my next one! Thank you 😊
Lovely amount of paint pots/shades - my favourite topic - Venice - really enjoyed the experience!
Absolutely beautiful
I really enjoyed the whole experience. While I'm no artist, it was worth it, so easy, relaxing and it came out great. Plenty of paint to use, easy to set up. Only downsides were It took way longer than I expected and the numbers were very tiny. Can't wait to hang it in the guest bedroom!
Love the image. Paint was thin for the red and pink colors. One green came completely dried out. Least favorite paints and actual canvas quality. My favorite of images out of 6 I painted.
This was my first 48 color kit, and honestly Ill never settle for less. This kit I finished faster then any other one I've done, so addicting and the paints were great quality. The picture turned out beautiful. 5 stars!
This was really fun to do. I enjoyed using so many bright colors. It was my first attempt at a 48 color kit and I thought it would be difficult to do but it wasn’t at all.
I’m really enjoying painting these white roses. The canvas is high quality and the paint is creamy and does not dry out fast!
Awesome!!
The quality is first class. However I found the background paint at the top too pale compared to the picture. I dont know how to fix and very disappointed.
I really enjoyed my Paint Kit Studio paint-by-numbers kit! The framed canvas was easy to work with, and everything I needed was included, from the numbered acrylic paints and brushes to the reference sheet. My Buddha Meditation design had lots of intricate details, so it took me around five days to complete, but watching the picture come to life was very satisfying. The finished artwork looks beautiful and was well worth the time and effort. A great relaxing hobby for beginners and anyone who enjoys being creative!
The colors are beautiful that some of the numbers in tiny spaces are illegible. Even with extreme magnification, they cannot be read. I have asked for a digital copy of the diagram and I’m waiting for it to arrive so that I can finish the painting.
I just received my first Paint Kit Studio PBN and I am so impressed with the quality of their thick canvas and creamy paint! I haven’t been this excited about a painting in a very long time. I have spent hundreds of dollars on so many company’s kits and haven’t been able to complete them due to thick chalky paint and thin canvases. Thank you!
This was a lot of fun to paint!
There's multiple different colors to match with the numbers for the painting to be vibrant. It will be fun to complete on a day when I don't have any plans. I can't wait to finish it so I can hang it with my other pictures.
This one was fun but I got sloppy on it, it’s only my second or third one I think. I’ll improve as I continue I hope.
I enjoyed doing this one, I liked the different tones of the printed numbers on the canvas.
I liked the paints. Very creamy
I love the way the paint by number kit was packaged. You have everything you need to make your own little masterpiece. Just follow the numbers, no experience necessary! A rainbow of colors, paint brushes included. Happy painting!
I love the vibrant colors of this paint by numbers kit! I’m not done yet but I’m enjoying every minute painting it.
I love this painting so much. I definitely had to freehand a bit and add definition to the flowers so they didn’t look so flat, but I love how it turned out.
I waited a long time for this item but I’m glad it finally came. This is a lovely guided by numbers, artwork meant for beginners to advanced artists. I can’t wait to make this beautiful art come to life in my home. Thank you!
I’m really impressed with the quality of this paint by number. It’s very sturdy, the paints have a good consistency, and it’s very easy to follow the numbers. I think its a great product and I can’t wait to finish it!
I'm still in the process of painting. Enjoy every moment of it. The design layout allows for an excellent rendering of color transitions. The paint offers high coverage.
Very good quality of paint. Enjoyed the process. I'm glad that I have ordered three right away.
Fun to do and I look forward to finishing project. One number of paint was off, but I was able to figure what it was supposed to be. I would recommend print going just to edge of frame, not partially beyond it. I found it hard to stay in the lines there.

The Kittens On Roof comes with 24 numbered acrylic paints. This kit is offered exclusively in the 24-color edition for an approachable, beginner-friendly experience.
The Kittens On Roof ships with a 16 x 20 inch (40 x 50 cm) pre-stretched cotton canvas. This is a standard frame-friendly size that fits most off-the-shelf 16x20 frames once your painting is complete.
The 24-color Kittens On Roof takes about 8 to 12 hours to complete and is typically finished over 3 to 5 painting sessions. Beginners often spread it over a week or two of relaxed evening painting.
Yes. The Kittens On Roof 24-color edition is specifically designed for beginners. The numbered system and limited palette make it easy to follow with zero prior painting experience, and the larger numbered sections are forgiving for first-time brushwork.
Each Kittens On Roof includes a pre-stretched 16x20 cotton canvas with numbered sections, 24 numbered non-toxic acrylic paint pots, 3 brushes (small, medium, large), a paper reference guide, and a step-by-step PDF instruction sheet. You can also choose framed or unframed at checkout.
Yes. Kittens On Roof makes a thoughtful, hands-on gift for adults, teens, and creative beginners. It is especially popular for birthdays, holidays, anniversaries, and as a stress-relief or mindfulness gift. Pick the framed variant and the finished painting arrives ready to display straight from the wall, making gift-wrapping easy.
Paint by number kits are beginner-friendly art sets that include a pre-printed canvas with numbered sections, corresponding numbered acrylic paints, and brushes. Simply match the paint colors to the numbered areas on the canvas to create beautiful artwork, making it perfect for all skill levels.
Paint by number kits are suitable for all ages, but better for ages 8 and up, with different difficulty levels available. Simple designs work great for children 8-12, while complex landscapes and portraits challenge teenagers and adults.
Absolutely! Once your paint by number artwork is completely dry (usually 24-48 hours), it can be framed just like any canvas painting. Many people display their completed paint by number projects as home décor or give them as personalized gifts.
Mistakes are easily correctable with paint by number kits. Since acrylic paint dries quickly, you can paint over errors once dry. For wet paint mistakes, gently blot with a damp cloth. The opaque nature of acrylic paint ensures excellent coverage for corrections.
The Kittens on Roof kit shows two kittens sitting together on weathered wooden roof tiles under a night sky. One kitten is grey and white, the other mostly black, and they sit slightly left of centre. The sky behind them is deep blue with scattered stars and a pale glowing moon, and dark green foliage frames the edges of the scene. The contrast is the main idea here, the lit fur of the kittens against the dark roof and sky, so keeping the night tones genuinely dark is what makes the kittens read.
Allow 9 to 12 sessions. The night sky and dark roof are large areas, but keep them genuinely dark so the kittens stand out. Paint the sky and roof first, then the kittens, then the small stars and moon highlights last. This kit appears in our cats collection. For other animal subjects with strong light-and-dark contrast, see the Lion Pair Portrait and Cool Chimp Vibes kits.
